Polar Race

March 2011 marks the start of the 5th bi-annual international adventure race to the North Pole.

Teams of 2-4 highly trained, non professional athletes take part in one of the world’s toughest, gruelling, and most spectacular races. Tackling extreme weather, terrain, and wildlife, the teams race against each other for 4 weeks across the arctic.

The winning team, the first to reach the Magnetic North Pole, receive the prestigious  Blue Ice Trophy.

The Polar race is organised by well known and respected explorers, and multiple world record holders, David Hempleman-Adams and Jock Wishart.

The race offers huge opportunities for corporate sponsors including; international advertising, internal and external PR, local and national media exposure, and to leverage my experiences during and after the race within your organisation e.g. for motivational talks, and team effectiveness training.
